"For everyone who complains that Tulum and the Yucatan has been overdeveloped - this is your place. Punta Allan is exactly the way you'd imagine an untouched beachtown in Mexico used to look. Tranquil,beautiful, untouched. In this great setting we had an amazing two and half days with Greg, Lupita and the Fisherman's Lodge crew. Some highlights.
1) The place is incredibly family friendly. They cater to serious anglers for sure but our kids were right at home in the pool and out on the boat. The staff was warm and inviting at all times.
2) The Robinson Crusoe Trip. Simply amazing. a full day out on skiff and all the Sian Ka'an Biosphere has to offer: My 11 and 7 year old caught loads of fish on a spinning reel, I caught a bunch on fly. We skimmed across a turquoise expanse of flat water and were joined by a friendly pod of dolphins, we ate lunch on an island with friendly iguanas, we saw a giant aviary of mating frigate birds, we snorkeled on a pristine barrier reef and saw the largest elkhorn coral formations I've ever seen. This was all in one day. Do this trip - it will blow your mind.
3) The food - our expectations, all the way out on Punta Allan were...not high. Once again though we were stunned. Among the best food we ate while foodie-ing our way through Mexico City, Tulum and the Yucatan. The kitchen knows what their doing with flavors, freshness and service. Top notch.
4) Captain Greg - the nicest, most hospitable guy you could ask for. Nothing was too much for him and his service-mindedness was great.
5) One of the best Margaritas I've ever had. I don't want to know how they make them or might spend too much time drinking them back home!

*Transfers can be handled and booked through the Lodge. The current price of a roundtrip transfer van to/from Cancun Intl. Airport is $495US total for the van and can include up to 8 guests with luggage. Split 8 ways that is only $62US per person.
**We recommend a minimum of $80US per person per day. Our guides and staff are the best and we have no doubt that you will feel the same!
